Valentines DIY Roundup |
one sequin letters
two doily lights
three apple heart tart
four dinosaur valentine
five book covers
six heart cut out gift wrap
seven loaded cookie bars
eight cross stitch card
nine heart milk cubes
With a tight budget this year i'm more inclined to make any gifts that arise. We have always been really into valentines day in my family, my mom usually whips up some kind of heart shaped cake and we sometimes exchange gifts. I think February 14th can be whatever you make of it, it doesn't have to be all about the flowers and the diamonds! I'm spending today crafting, doing some yoga and getting ready to head back north after a gorgeous week at home in Texas. I'm choosing to focus on graduating and spending time with my friends rather than the fact that I'm going back into category five winter (wahh).
What are you up to this weekend?

What a lovely idea to celebrate valentines day with your family. It is so surrounded by jewelry and chocolate and naff cards, that sometimes it's just nice to do something really thoughtful. I really like the dinasour and the heart pie, these things are just too cute!
