Online Shopping Daydreams

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine

Someone's been up to no good (hint hint it's me). The evil shopping monster inside of me couldn't resist showing you what caught my eye at J Crew. They've got plenty of fabulous sale items right now so act fast if you dare!

Ironically enough, one of my new years resolutions (as I'm choosing to call it) is to put a spending freeze on myself. Since I'll be graduating and becoming a real financially independent adult, gasp, I'm choosing to be much smarter about how I spend and save in 2013. All of this basically means bye bye J Crew and hello thrifted and homemade items. I'm actually excited to find new ways to shop my own closet and to drastically reduce the amount of stuff that comes through my front door.

What are your resolutions looking like? How did you deal with the shift to financial independence? I'd love to hear any tips and tricks you might have :)

  1. If I added up how much money i've spent at J.Crew in the past few months, I think I'd be depressed. Although most of it has been on sale!

  5. As much as I WANT to limit my purchases and fashion additions, it's just...so... HARD. ):

I did manage to walk out of J Crew yesterday, without spending a dime. I was pretty proud. But, then again, the store was pretty picked over...so I can't take much credit at all.

I love the picks you found! Especially Number 7. (Shoes are kind of my weak spot!)

Love your blog. Can't wait to read more! (:

  8. I dealt with the financial independence by moving to Brazil. I figured as scary as it was, it would at least be more fun being unemployed here than in the states, right?

Good luck! But seriously, save that money. And apply to jobs. Now.

  10. Ah! Such gorgeous finds Kelsey! I think my favorite is that pink skirt, can't wait to see how you wear it! I've had similar thoughts lately about spending because besides my tuition, I'm on my own, plus I have no storage space as it is! I kinda just stopped going shopping all together, which makes things a lot easier. Also, blogs are a great great way to get excited to shop your closet. Good luck!
